The Phantom Inker

Clara's never seen a human before. Much less one who's cute :)

I've had this lineart floating around at various stages of incompleteness for about two and a half years now. I really liked the idea behind it when I first started it, but a few years of health problems later and it wasn't clear I'd ever finish enough of it to be presentable. But today I pulled it out of the incomplete-projects bin, finished drawing his pants and boots, and her hands, and a few details here and there, and finally I'm calling it done enough that it's shareable.

Yes, the background is sketchy trash. If I ever color this, I'll swap in something better.

My headcanon has the two of them quickly becoming inseparable, and a few years from now after Jack (somewhat against his better judgment) has drunk a forbidden transformation potion from a somewhat sketchy wizard, they're happily married with children. They've managed to keep alive the lie that Jack's from "a centaur village far in the north," and nobody in Clara's village suspects anything different. Clara, for her part, works hard to make sure Jack never thinks twice about being with her ;)

Or just consider it a picture of a cute romance with a happily-ever-after.

Anyway, it's been a while since I posted new content, so have some new content, even if a lot of it is a couple of years old already.
